ويعرفها (Schwurzer) "بأنها توقعات النتيجة النهائية المتحققة من إدراك النتائج المحتملة على نشاط الفرد وتشير إلى السيطرة على النشاط الشخصي للفرد أو قوته" ([i])، كما يعرفها (Regehr) "بأنها تشير إلى عملية معرفية عاملة تحدث توقعات يتمكن الفرد بموجبها من حل المشكلات ومواجهة التحديات الجديدة" ([ii]). ويعرفها (Mavies) " بأنها حكم شخصي للفرد حول قدراته في أداء مهمة معينة بنجاح" ([iii]).
Abstract
(Schwurzer) defines it as “expectations of the final result achieved from the awareness of the possible consequences on an individual’s activity and refers to control over the individual’s personal activity or power” , and Regehr also defines it “as it refers to a working cognitive process that creates expectations according to which the individual can solve problems.” And facing new challenges” . Mavies defines it as “an individual’s personal judgment about his abilities to perform a particular task successfully” .
