إن الأطفال التوحديين يواجهون مشكلة في توظيف الاستراتيجيات الملائمة لحل المشاكل التعليمية المختلفة. فقد يقومون بتوظيف استراتيجيات بدائية وضعيفة لحل مسائل الحساب وفهم المقروء، وكذلك عند الحديث والتعبير الكتابي. ويعود جزء كبير من تلك الصعوبات إلى افتقار عمليات التنظيم. لكي يتمكن الإنسان من اكتساب العديد من الخبرات والتجارب، فهو بحاجة إلى القيام بعملية تنظيم تلك الخبرات بطريقة ناجحة، تضمن له الحصول عليها واستخدامها عند الحاجة. وبذلك  يعانون من الصعوبات التعلمية وفي العديد من المواقف يستصعبون بشكل ملحوظ في تلك المهمة
Autistic children face a problem in employing appropriate strategies to solve various educational problems. They may employ primitive and weak strategies to solve problems of arithmetic and reading comprehension, as well as when speaking and written expression. A large part of these difficulties are due to a lack of organization. In order for a person to be able to acquire many experiences and experiences, he needs to carry out the process of organizing those experiences in a successful way, which guarantees him obtaining and using them when needed. Thus, they suffer from learning difficulties, and in many situations they find it difficult to do so significantly
