   هدف البحث التعرف على مدى فاعلية برنامج لعب الأدوار في تنمية السلوكيات الإيجابية وتكونت عينة البحث ،ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم إعداد استبيان لتحديد السلوكيات الإيجابية المناسبة للأطفال المعاقين عقليا القابلين للتعلم، وبطاقة ملاحظة السلوكيات الإيجابية للأطفال المعاقين عقليا .
واستخدم البحث المنهج التجريبي وقد تم تطبيق أدوات البحث علي مجموعة تجريبية واحدة قبلياً والتي تكونت من ( 8 ) أطفال.
وأسفرت نتائج هذا البحث إلى فاعلية برنامج قائم على لعب الأدوار في تنمية السلوكيات الإيجابية لدى الأطفال الملتحقين بمدارس التربية الفكرية 
The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of the role-playing program in developing positive behaviors and the research sample was formed, and to achieve this goal, a questionnaire was prepared to determine the positive behaviors appropriate for mentally handicapped children who are able to learn, and the positive behavior observation card for mentally handicapped children.
The research used the experimental method and the research tools were applied to one experimental group beforehand, which consisted of (8) children.
The results of this research resulted in the effectiveness of a role-based program in developing positive behaviors among children enrolled in intellectual education schools
